Real Art Design Group Earns Top Advertising Honor
DAYTON, OH (July 21, 2009)—Real Art Design Group earns a Gold Award at the American Advertising Association’s National Addy® Awards for creative holiday project.
“We’ve won a number of Hermes at the local competition,” said Chris Wire, owner of Real Art. “But we’ve never been recognized at the national level. We’re thrilled to have received such an honor.”
Real Art’s A New Year, A New You project won a Gold Award in the Self Promotion, Mixed Media Campaign category. The campaign was one of 100 projects to receive the Gold Award at the national competition.
A New Year, A New You gave Real Art clients, friends and families the opportunity to create a puppet version of themselves. Cards featuring puppet versions of the Real Art team were used to invite visitors to the site, where they used an online puppet maker to create their “new you.” After visitors finished their online puppets, Real Art sewed and personalized actual puppets that matched these online creations.
“Earning recognition for this project is especially rewarding because every member of the Real Art team was involved,” said Wire. “From creating their individual puppets to designing the cards and website, the project required a wide range of skill sets, and everyone stepped up to the plate.”
Visit www.designthenewyou.com to see the online portion of the Real Art’s award-winning project. Although you can no longer order an actual puppet, you can use the online puppet maker to create your virtual puppet.
