Day of Innovation

  Wright State's Challenge
Wright State University challenged Real Art to design and build an environment to host a day long symposium on interdisciplinary problem solving called the "Day of Innovation". The themes would include brainstorming, collaboration, and communication.

Real Art's Solution
We decided that focusing our efforts just on the location of the event would be thinking too small. Installations at the symposium were a given, but the real goal was to turn that location into a hub for conversations taking place throughout the University.

Kiosks were installed in multiple locations on campus, allowing users to recline and brainstorm on several topics throughout the day. These live conversations were projected onto the ceiling at the main event.

At the conclusion of the symposium, these conversations were replayed and projected as a backdrop to the president's closing speech. When all was said and done, students and professors from all over Wright State had helped to build their own backdrop to the day's closing ceremony. Thematically and aesthetically, the results were beautiful.
