2006 Annual Report

 

Arkansas Children's Hospital

  How they challenged us:
Working with ACH for the first time, we wanted to create something totally different and fun—something a little out of the ordinary for an annual report. 

What was our strategy:
ACH wanted to introduce readers to Scout, the new hospital mascot, so we set out to bring him to life. We made him fun and friendly (both on screen and in print), using photography from his perspective and attaching him to the site navigation. 

Why we think it rocks:
The printing process was quite the adventure. The die cut and flocking were separate processes that came together as one, fun final piece.

Why we think others will dig it too:
Fun to touch and easy to digest, it’s really not your typical, stuffy annual report. 

The lowdown on the technical jargon:
A little bit of die cutting and a little bit of flocking equals big fun for the print piece. And for the site, we developed a Flash piece that enabled the patterns on the site to follow the user’s mouse.
